Thomas the Polar Express Berk

Thomas is a 2-8-4 Berkshire. Built in 1941 by the Lionel Locomotive Works, he served on the Pere Marquette railroad for passenger and frieght service until 1958, when he was put on permanant display. In 2002, he was restored to star in the 2004 Warner Bros. movie, The Polar Express. Finally, in 2006, he was bought by the Lionelville & Western for use on thier mainline uses. Nowadays, you will often see Thomas pulling some newly built Polar Express cars built by the Lionel Car Shops, or helping some frieght trains with Chris and Kirsty. But, no matter what, you'll always see that he's a very useful engine.
