MLP Merchandise Meme

Has anyone ever noticed that most (if not all) of the MLP merchandise seems to stick with the ponies having smiles all the time? I think it's about time that Hasbro would get their act together and make different expressions for each character. We've seen this done on the Thomas, Cars, and Disney toys. So why shouldn't My Little Pony do the same thing with their toys? Would you agree with me?
